Il mantello \u00e8 fromentino di varie tonalit\u00e0: nero con riga mulina rossiccia, grigio con riga mulina chiara. Presenza a volte di focature e striature di vario colore e ampiezza. Le popolazioni presenti in Sardegna assumono denominazioni diverse sulla base del colore del mantello e della statura: Istringata, Pettiatza, Bertigazza, Sorgolina, Planaria o Montagnola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Attitudine<\/strong> <strong>e prodotti<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Razza da carne.
