Le prime testimonianze risalgono al XVIII secolo ma sembra che la stabilizzazione dei caratteri si ebbe solo pi\u00f9 tardi. Infatti nel corso degli anni il Mucco Pisano \u00e8 stato soggetto ad una serie di incroci misti con lo scopo di migliorare, soprattutto, l\u2019attitudine lattifera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Caratteristiche<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bovino di taglia grande. Nelle femmine il mantello \u00e8 castano, con gradazioni dal chiaro allo scuro. Presentano una riga&nbsp; dorsale rossiccia detta \u00abspigatura\u00bb. Nei maschi il mantello \u00e8 pi\u00f9 scuro definibile marrone focato. La testa ha profilo dritto e leggermente convesso nelle femmine. L\u2019interno del padiglione auricolare \u00e8 provvisto di folto pelo di color fulvo chiaro. Nei maschi la testa \u00e8 corta, con fronte ampia e riccioluta. Le corna sono piccole, dirette in fuori, in avanti e in basso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Attitudine e prodotti<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Razza con attitudine prevalentemente da carne. E\u2019 caratterizzata da incrementi ponderali giornalieri prossimi ad 1 kg, in allevamento semibrado. La qualit\u00e0 delle carni \u00e8 molto apprezzata e riconosciuta da un marchio di qualit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"164\" height=\"222\" src=\"https:\/\/www.leo-italy.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/image-79.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-769\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Origins<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Its origin zone is lower Serchio Valley (Pisa). Mucca Pisana, or Mucco, originated from a series of crossings between the Alpine Brown (Svitto, Schwyz) and the local population of Chianina of the plain). The first evidences of its existence date back to the XVIII century but the stabilization of the traits occurred only later because over the years Mucco Pisano had a series of mixed crossings to improving, above all, the dairy attitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Peculiarities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Population: 500 heads in Pisa province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Body size is big. In females, the coat is brown, with gradations from light to dark. They have a reddish dorsal line called \u201cspigatura&#8221;. In males, coat is darker. Head has a straight and slightly convex profile in females. Horns are small, pointing outwards, forward and down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Attitude and products<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Meat production, with average daily weight gain up to 1 kg\/day in semi free-ranging breeding.
