{"id":785,"date":"2021-11-12T13:27:28","date_gmt":"2021-11-12T12:27:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.leo-italy.eu\/?post_type=razze&#038;p=785"},"modified":"2021-11-12T13:27:38","modified_gmt":"2021-11-12T12:27:38","slug":"sopravissana","status":"publish","type":"razze","link":"https:\/\/www.leo-italy.eu\/en\/razze\/sopravissana\/","title":{"rendered":"Sopravissana"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Origini<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Rasituato sul versante tirrenico dei Monti Sibillini in provincia di Macerata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Sopravissana deriva dalla razza locale di zza originaria di Visso, comune ceppo appenninico transumante, incrociata, a partire dal XVIII secolo, con arieti Merinos Rambouillets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Caratteristiche<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il vello \u00e8 bianco, costituito da bioccoli prismatici, e ricopre interamente il tronco, il collo, la base della testa, la fronte e parte degli arti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La testa \u00e8 proporzionata con profilo rettilineo nelle femmine e leggermente montonino nei maschi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La taglia raggiunge nei soggetti adulti maschi e femmine, rispettivamente, valori di altezza al garrese di 71 e 63 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019allevamento viene condotto in forma prevalentemente stanziale ed in zone ad elevata marginalit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attitudine e prodotti<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>E\u2019 una razza a spiccata attitudine alla produzione di carne ottenuta da agnelli che raggiungono i 30 kg ai 6 mesi di et\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019orientamento selettivo attuale \u00e8 volto verso l\u2019aumento del tasso di gemellarit\u00e0 ed alla riduzione dell\u2019interparto mirando ai tre parti in due anni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il latte viene destinato alla caseificazione di formaggi tipici tra cui il Pecorino Romano e la ricotta da consumare fresca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"164\" height=\"222\" src=\"https:\/\/www.leo-italy.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/image-91.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-787\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Origins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sopravissana comes from Visso, on the Sibillini Mountains (Macerata).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It derives from the local Appennine transhumant breeds, crossed, from the 18<sup>th<\/sup> century, with Merinos Rambouillets rams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<strong>Peculiarities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Population: about 5000 heads in 50 farms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fleece is white and completely covers the trunk, the neck, the base of the head, the forehead and part of the limbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The head is proportioned with rectilinear profile in females and slightly rammish in males.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In adult males and females, respectively, withers height reaches&nbsp; 71 and 63 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The breeding is conducted in a settled form and in areas with high marginality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Attitude<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>and<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>products<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Its main product is meat (heavy lambs of 30 kg at 6 months of age). Currently selected to increase twinning and decrease lambing interval (aim: 3 lambings in 2 years).
