Agli inizi del novecento erano conosciute diverse variet\u00e0 della razza romagnola, tra queste si afferm\u00f2 quella denominata in dialetto \u00abmora\u00bb, caratterizzata dall\u2019avere un manto nerastro con tinte pi\u00f9 chiare nell\u2019addome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Caratteristiche<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I suini di razza Romagnola sono di taglia grande ed hanno uno scheletro forte; il loro mantello \u00e8 fulvo fino all\u2019et\u00e0 di circa sei mesi, successivamente diviene nero focato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La testa \u00e8 tendente al lungo con orecchie portate in avanti, il muso \u00e8 lungo e sottile e la sclera pigmentata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il tronco \u00e8 lungo con linea dorso-lombare convessa, le spalle sono piuttosto leggere e le cosce lunghe e poco convesse; gli arti robusti talvolta stangati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.leo-italy.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/image-130.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-912\" width=\"191\" height=\"259\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Attitudine e prodotti<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La Mora Romagnola \u00e8 rinomata per la qualit\u00e0 della sua carne che \u00e8 ricercata per la preparazione di salumi tradizionali. Ottimo il grasso che ha un aroma caratteristico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pregiati, tra i salumi della razza, i prosciutti, i salami, i guanciali, le spalle ed il lardo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Origins<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning of XIX century many kind of Romagnola breeds were known, among these the mora one became predominant, with its\u00a0 blackish coat and lighter tints in the abdomen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Peculiarities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Animals are of big size, with\u00a0\u00a0 strong heavy skeleton; young pigs up to 6 months have fawn coat. The head tends to be long with ears carried forward, the snout is long and thin and the sclera is pigmented.<br>The trunk is long with a convex dorso-lumbar line, the shoulders are rather light and the thighs long and slightly convex; sturdy, sometimes stiff limbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Attitude<\/strong> <strong>and<\/strong> <strong>products<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Animals produce high quality meat that is used for processing into traditional salamis. Excellent is the fat that has a characteristic aroma.
